Ian Potter Foundation Awards Grant to Life's for Living

Life's for Living has been fortunate to receive another grant to the 'What I'd Like You To Know About Me!' Project! The Ian Potter Foundation has awarded a second grant to Life's for Living. This grant will be used to continue promoting the resource both in rural S.A and interstate. The project team is excited at the challenge that this presents!

This is the perfect social networking opportunity, and is open to people with complex communication needs (CCN is a term used the needs of people who have little or no speech), aged from 5 - 18 years and their families.

Launch of new resource a great success!

Life's for Living celebrated the launch of the 'What I'd Like You To Know About Me!' web resource (www.aboutme.org.au) on the 29th August. It was a fantastic event which focussed on children and young people with disabilities and their families. Minister Weatherill attended the launch and spoke of the importance of the resource for families.

Wine Fundraiser Success

We recently had such fantastic success with our wine selling fundraising venture that we aim to do it again soon! Research and Development

Life’s for Living now has a Research and Development arm that was created to investigate innovative solutions and projects that will benefit the people that Life’s for Living supports and the wider disability community. The organisation has just launched its latest product, a resource kit for developing Personalised Client Profiles. Life's For Living receives $19,500 grant from Adelaide Bank Charitable Foundation

Life’s for Living recently received a grant from the Adelaide Bank Charitable Foundation for the sum of $19,500 to assist with the completion of the ‘What I’d Like You To Know About Me!’ website resource for families of children and young people with disabilities.
