Life's for Living has a Research and Development team which focuses on projects that are of benefit both to Life's for Living clients and people in the wider community.
The current focus of the Research and Development team is the 'What I'd Like You To Know About Me!' resource for children and young people with disabilities, their families and the services that support them.
This exciting new resource is now available for use!
The resource was launched with much excitement on Wednesday 29th August, 2007 by Jayne Lehmann (parent of a child with a disability and member of the project Family Advisory Group). The launch was attended by Minister for Disabilities, the Hon Jay Weatherill as well as many parents, their children and representatives from the government and non-goverment sector.

A Training and Promotions Officer (Julie Brookes) has been appointed part time for a period of 12 months thanks to a grant from Community Benefit SA.
The resource is provided to families for a once-off, low cost which also includes 2 free training sessions and email/phone support. Services can also purchase licenses to use within their service or on behalf of families.
