Staff are able to use this benefit towards loans, rent, school fees or a debit card that can be used for household or other expenses. Salary packaging is a very attractive option due to the organisation’s charitable status as deemed by the Australian Tax Office. Community Business Bureau manages this service for Life’s for Living staff and each staff member is offered a salary package that meets their unique needs. CBB meets each staff member to discuss these options once probationary period is complete.

Support workers are also required to perform domestic duties including cleaning, meal preparation, and gardening as appropriate. Support workers are often required to work in isolation and therefore must be able to time manage and prioritise tasks.
