Meeting 1 29/03/05

At the first meeting, it was important to decide on some group rules. The committee talked for a long time about the rules for meetings.

Some of the rules included: having meetings regularly, starting meetings on time, only one person to talk at a time, reading the rules at each meeting, having fun, voting to make a decision and planning the agenda for the next meeting at the end of the meeting.
The committee also talked about having a name that others could recognise. This discussion was helped along by the support staff to try and find a name that the committee could identify with. The name that group members unanimously voted for was the Talking Together Committee.
